Heath Ledger Dead at 28! RIP
BIG EDIT: NYTIMES RETRACTED STATEMENT THAT THE APARTMENT WAS OWNED BY MARY KATE. So disregard that. (6:11PM EST EDIT)
Heath was found in his own apartment.
According to sources Heath was suffering from pneumonia at the time of his death.
As of 10AM EST (January 23rd) the autopsy came back inconclusive.
I was not planning on doing news today, but this happened and I felt I needed to post.

VersaEmerge - Changes
Dear fans
First off, we would like to thank you for your sincere support over the past few months. We know that without the fans and people who support us, it would not be possible for us to do what we do. We appreciate all of you from the bottoms of our hearts.
With that being said, we would like to continue to see your support through the recent losses and gains we have had. As you may already know, we have found our amazing new vocalist but have also lost two members.
Josh untimely left VE to pursue his life and musical path in another direction. As our band is changing, so is our sound, and we can only hope and strive for the best. Which also can describe lack of contention with AJ. We feel that the further we advance with our music, the come closer to finding our own sound. We parted ways with AJ to benefit the band and the new sound we can finally say we've found.
Their absences will undeniably make for a slightly different sound in this band. We all love Josh and AJ very much and have no personal tension with either of them and look forward to see where their talent leads them.
Do not fear what is to come. We're working day and night with our new members and new outlook to bring you the best music we can.

We are at Salad Days Studio in Baltimore, MD currently working on our first big studio album. We are recording with the amazing producer Brian McTernan. He has recorded everyone from Thrice, Senses Fail, The Bled, and Scary Kids Scaring Kids... to Circa Survive, Hidden in Plain View, June, Hot Water Music, and many others. We chose Brian to handle our record not only because we love the way his records sound, but most importantly because he was totally stoked about working with us and not just some hot shot producer thats only waiting for the paycheck. We have no doubt in our minds that we are going to have an absolutely amazing record. Expect lots of electronica goodness, some of the heaviest crap youve ever heard, and sweet ambient parts. We stay true to our roots. This cd is going to come out hopefully in april or may of this year.
WARNING: do not read further if you dont care about stupid details that arent important.
In baltimore near the harbor, parking is super hard, especially when you have a huge van to drive around, so weve been walking on foot everywhere. We are in the area known as "Little Italy" so there is tons of rediculously good italian food. Theres even an Italian sandwich place that has a sandwich called the "Circa" which is named after circa survive coming in a lot to eat while they were recording. I doubt they will make a sub called the "sky eats airplane", it just doesnt sound as good haha. When we got here the weather seemed very nice compared to Texas when we left, but we have heard that its going to get cold really soon. Hopefully us southern folk can handle freezing to death! Heres some pictures i took on my camera for everyone to see where we will be working for the next month or two!

CATHERINE - UPDATE!
Hey guys! We just wanted to let you know that we are still alive and that we've been working hard on some new songs! We are really excited about what we've been writing lately, our songwriting has matured and we know that most of you guys will like it =) So with that said we are going to take the next 2 months to write for the new CD and get a real solid set together to tour with in March. then after that we'll be doing alot of touring through '08. so we'll be near you soon and yes that includes all of our EUROPEAN friends. we're working on a FULL EURO tour in august. keep yo fingers crossed :)
